OSHA 10-HOUR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides a basic overview of the Construction Industry Safety and Health Standards, 29 CFR 1926 and OSH regulatory requirements.
Generally, the 10-hour course is scheduled for two days, Monday through Friday. We can adjust the training schedule to meet your needs.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Topics — 6 Hours
- Introduction to OSHA
- Fall protection
- Struck-By
- Electrocution
- Caught-In Between
- Personal Protective & Lifesaving Equipment
- Health Hazards in Construction (Hazard Communication, Silica, Noise and many others
Elective Topics — 2 Hours
- Stairways & Ladders
- Tools: Hand & Power
- Materials: Handling, Storage, Use & Disposal
- Scaffolds
- Excavation
- Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevator, & Conveyors
Optional Topics — 2 Hours
Teach other construction industry hazards or policies and or expand on the mandatory or elective topics.

Supervisors, Managers and Employees.
